Variations on a Theme-Round 9 of the ORBC Quilt-Along!

Happy New Year everyone! I am so pleased and honored to be starting the new year leading Round 9 of the Old Red Barn Quilt-Along....thanks bunches for your confidence in me Dana!! So here it is......Variations on a Theme....and the theme is ...
TICKER TAPE!!
This wonderful way of using your scraps was invented by that quilting guru Amanda Jean of Crazy Mom Quilts!
Here is a link to AJs tutorial on Sew, Mama, Sew! What I am going to do is show you a way to easily make a bigger one and lots of variations....sort of like my Frame Me quilt....but of course done the right way!!
On Monday, Jan 3rd, I will post a supply list...which I'm sure will be pretty short since you all have most of what you need already in your sewing rooms!! I will also start this party with a giveaway at the ORBC flickr site hosted by me AND Amanda Jean!:)

    I have so been wanting to do one of these since I saw the post on Sew Mama Sew. Thanks for being our leader! I guess until Tuesday I can at least organize the scrap box a bit.

    I love this idea! I am looking to use up scraps in 2011, so this is just the ticket *snicker*, get it ticket ... ticker tape? Okay maybe not a good joke. But I am still joining in on this :)

    I'm new at quilting and entering both give aways. The Ticker Tape is darling and something I can finish. My kids would love it! I forgot to add more color in my life last year. I did for a while and still need more.I do well until February hits. :)
