Great Week....and Valentine's Day Mini Winner!

I finished my son James' quilt.

My submission to Fresh Modern Quilts for one of their blog button/badges was one of the top three in the voting...actually first! See it there on the right? Click on it and it will take you to the fantastic Flickr group of very talented Fresh Modern Quilters. That quilt now lives with Lynz in Scotland!!:)

And I mailed my doll quilt for the Doll Quilt Swap 8....it even made it on the latest post on the Doll Quilt Swap Blog! Is it coming to you?:) But I guess what you really want to know is who won the Valentine Mini!! I'll not keep you in suspense any more...the winner is Ann (Six on Seventh)!! Congratulations Ann! I'll be contacting you for your mailing info ASAP! I want to thank everyone for your lovely comments...you sure do make my head swell!!;)

Oh...and one more good thing....our cherry tomato "tree" has over 35 little round lovelies on it....well...31....we picked four today!!

  7. Your mini's are gorgeous Dee. Stop it. Please. You are giving me serious quilt envy because I couldn't participate in the DQS :( This year is shaping up to be crazy busy but I hope to participate next time!!!! Hope the snow is subsiding and that you've been enjoying working at the quilt store!

Oh and James' quilt is lovely too. Colours are so fresh and funky.
