I know...I was feeling so great I made these little Valentine minis....all 11" of love, one for me and one for you!
Seems the hardest part of making anything is picking out the fabric and then laying it out....that took just as long as the actual sewing! But it was such fun...and would you believe once again I dreamed about making these?:)
If you would like one leave me a comment (making sure to leave contact info)by Friday, February 19th at 6pm EST. I'm not fussy...just say something to keep me smiling!;)
Now the perfect end to a perfect day...hubby and I are going to go see a movie...and buy Maria a Valentine's Day gift....a new baseboard heater for her room!;)

oooh! look! I got to comment first! Does that get me extra points? Cute little quilts they are! Would be even cuter in my sewing room. Happy Valentines Day! Pam
ReplyDeletesend me some snow with the quilt! ;0)
ReplyDeleteThese turned out really cute. I spent the day getting caught up on my bee blocks. We don't get snow here that amounts too much so yours is very pretty to me.
ReplyDeleteDang you sure have a lot of snow. Only about 10 inches in michigan. Love your little quilts they came out great. Happy Valentines Day.
ReplyDeleteThose are beautiful. I'd be a lucky duck for sure if I won one!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI always like seeing what you create!
Pick me!!! I want one. I promise to hold it in the February calendar shot. haha!
ReplyDelete6 more inches of snow in Allentown tomorrow into Tuesday. SNOW=SEW in my book.
I love these! So very cute...and kind of you too!

Oh how sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! I would love to have a matching little quilt to go with yours. Then we'd be like some sort of "quilt sisters!"
ReplyDeleteI've already gots lots of snow here so you could just send me the quilt!
Those are just wonderful! Sounds like you had a great day - Happy Valentines!
ReplyDeleteThey are adorable! I love the raw edges. The heart in the center is a nice surpise.
ReplyDeleteI would love to send you some warm Florida weather to help melt your snow but we don't have any.
Cute, Dee- almost as cute as you! I'll trade you a cheekbone for one. Deal? :)
ReplyDeleteOnce again you have created something fantastic! I need to try these mini quilts...you have inspired me (again)!~ How perfect to create when you have all that snow around! Someday....we're going to meet my friend!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful mini's Dee. I'd dearly love one on my wall, and grey to boot!! How about I send over some Aussie sunshine. Hmm, that's started a train of thoughts I might have to follow up on!

So wonderful! Love the rainbow layout of scraps.
ReplyDeleteI want to try a ticker tape mini using old ribbons (from county fair, sports events, etc) that I have saved. Not sure it will work. But I do need to display my first place in the low low hurdles (a stick on the ground).
I'm loving these little ticker tape quilts showing up around the place - Flossie's one is very cute too.
ReplyDeleteI just need enough scraps to make one! LOL
Sending warmer weather your way (ours is coolish for this time of year!).
What a day! Love, chocolate chip pancakes, enough "you" time to make not one, but two, super sweet tickertape quilts. wow! I was a couch-potato-wanna-be-Olympian all day! Even though I'm comfortably into my 40's and totally out of shape, I still sort of pretend that if I just worked a little bit hard I might be able to kick someone butt on the long track oval (as long as they are in their 80's). Thanks for the sweet giveaway!!
ReplyDeleteSMILE!!! your quilts are little lovelies!!! How generous of you. I am lovingly making smaller quilts too.
ReplyDeleteWhat cute little quilts. Wow, look at all that snow! They warm that picture right up!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful quilts. Oh I just love the snow. I miss it, we now live in Alabama don't get to see that much snow. We have gotten a little snow, looks beautiful but is is usually gone within hours.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty Valentines - and you are a lucky girl with your family.
ReplyDeleteI would be honoured to show this off in my studio!!!
Thanks for thinking of us Dee.
This is so sweet of you! I'd be sure to give your cute quilt a happy home where it would be loved!!!
ReplyDeleteDunno where my first comment went, so let's try again ...
ReplyDeleteLOVE the heart quilting in the middle :)
And at least you dreamed about something nice! I dreamed Friday night that I went to jail. Woke up horrified! Then last night I dreamed that I was still there and found out that I would have to stay 11 more years. YIKES!! I'm really not the criminal type - promise! I've never even had a speeding ticket! Sometimes dreams can help you work stuff out, and sometimes they're just weird :)
these minis are great - how very productive of you :] I like how they are dwarfed by the massive amount of snow they are laying on top of. The snow just started again here - just 6" of the white stuff this time - just...
ReplyDeleteI would be honored to hang one of your creations in my craft room [though I can't promise that on some particularly creative days it won't be covered by a towering stack of fabric :]
Those are just about the cutest little mini quilts ever! Gorgeous colors! And I love quilts photographed in the snow!

So cute Dee. I just added your badge to my blog. It looks so good!
ReplyDeleteLove your little quilts. so cute.
ReplyDeleteWhat sweet, little quilties! Love the bits of rainbow surrounding the quilted heart. As for the snow, I see a warming trend in the future. (About as precise as the weatherman.)
ReplyDeleteYou seem to have the nicest dreams. Lately mine have been of black widow spiders and things that go bump in the night. Must be the aspartame - I've just switched from regular Coke to non-caffeinated diet drinks - blech.
Am I too late? I thought I had put my name in the hat:( I love these little quilties. You are doing fine work my friend. So much fun!
ReplyDeleteThese turned out so cute and a wonderful Valentines theme. I'd also love some snow along with quilt.
